- BARC Exam Pattern for Scientific Assistant & Stipendiary Trainee Cat-I
- The Computer Based Screening Test of 1 hour (60 minutes) duration will be conducted.
- The test will comprise of 40 MCQs (choice of 4 options).
- For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded.
- For each incorrect answer, ‘1’ mark will be deducted.
- The syllabus for the said examination will be based on subjects at Diploma / B.Sc. level as the case may be.

- The screening test consists of 50 MCQs from Mathematics, Science, and General awareness subjects.
